BBE-artist Git has his roots in underground hip-hop, but on "Imagination", he manages to transcend the boom bap and instead craft something thoroughly unique. At a slow, languid pace, an old-school Shadow/Krush-esque drum loop plays while his detuned and slightly ghostly vocals flow over the track amidst some decidedly trippy echo chords. On a more sprightly vibe, "If You Just Make Love To Me" rides a Latin slow disco beat and some excellently fun vocals reminiscent of August Darnell's productions for Ze.
