Croatia's techno champ Petar Dundov steps up with a second album for his natural home of Music Man, and it finds him digging deep into a definite realm of 80s ambience. Laying the arpeggios down thick and keeping the pads loaded with tension, Dundov wears his influences on his sleeve but does a mighty fine job of paying tribute to them. With a leaning towards the Terry Riley school of melody-layering, the beats are forced to wait their turn in the mix, only offering a gentle guide rather than dictating the pace. If you enjoy the likes of Vangelis, you'll find much to love here. Highly recommended.
