Record buyers of a certain vintage will instantly recognise the piano refrain that opens up "Humpty Dumpty" as the source for one of the tracks on Aim's iconic trip-hop oddysey Cold Water Music. This killer jazz funk standard from Placebo's debut 1971 LP Ball Of Eyes has never surfaced on a seven before so kudos to the Rare imprint for taking the plunge. Complementing this is the Belgian band's psychefunk thriller "Balek" lifted from their sophomore set which really displays the keyboard talents of frontman and sorely missed Marc Moulin.
