Spanish imprint Galaktika emerge from hibernation in style, proffering this various artists EP notable for the presence of Maceo Plex amidst some label regulars. The Crosstown jewel seems to be everywhere at the moment, and his arrival on Galaktika is marked with one of his most heart wrenching productions to date in "Her Security". The standard finely poised drum programming from the Plexman is complemented by some simple but deeply effective chord pluckings and brooding vocal harmonies. Complementing this, Garnica goes deep and sexual on "We Want A Girl", matching Plex in the emotive stakes, whilst "Dimensiones Impossibles" sees Mo Aymard in more playful mood, laying down all manner of hypnotic synth throbbery. Finally Paulo Olarte adds some funk to proceedings with the bumping late night vibes of "Steps".
