Mike Parker's series of extra terrestrial techno experiments released via his own Geophone imprint continues unabated here with the 17th edition proffering yet more untitled production and further examples of his talent for abstract ink sketches on the cover art. As with previous releases in the series, Parker's genius is best experienced in the club setting, where the constantly fluctuating alien rhythms can coalesce with other sounds to create their own energy. Listening to the sinewy, abstract machine funk in isolation tends to cause third degree burns to your cerebral cortex such is their paranoia inducing qualities!
