It's not surprising that Goodiepal's music has been snatched up by the ever-impressive Editions Mego. There are no existing words to even begin to come close to describing this music, it's just pure, unadulterated weirdness from one of experimental music's most singular figures. Much like a painting canvas, Goodiepal has filled his arrangements with a thick, oozing layer of different styles and influences. There are sketches of techno, of course, but also of hip-hop and more percussive moods. It's simply a nutty, psychedelic and utterly singular twist of psychotic electronics.
