It's a family affair, and an illicit one to boot, as the Ruf Kutz label arrives at it's ninth release with a 12" featuring famous cover versions from Ruf Dug and affiliates on a one off pressing, "don't bother suing cos there's no fuckin money". Leading the way is Glowing Palms who, perhaps as a reaction to Skream's latter day love of disco, turns in a wonderfully charming marimba heavy cover of dubstep classic "Midnight Request Line" retitled here as "Ask Me After Midnite (Tropical Marimba Wobble For The Disenfranchised)". London-dwelling Australian producer Bell Towers channels his inner Chris Lowe with a Balearic squelch take on 80s Pet Shop Boys hit "Domino Dancing" whilst Ruf Kutz leads the RKs through a stellar Compass Point rendition of "Music Sounds Better With You".
