Big proto house refix action from certified UK legend Ashley Beedle - not that many producers from these shores can count over 440 remixes on their CV! The Wah Wah 45 press machine might have slightly erred in claiming Beedle was aiming for a Factory Records vibe on these two versions of "Glory" by resident chanteuse Stac - the tough, intense and raw rhythms are much more in line with the iconic NYC nightspot The Sound Factory. What is certain is that Beedle excels, giving the abstract future soul leanings of Stac's original production two very different slants - check the dub mix for a soaring disco lean if the dark and long bump of the A Side is too much.
