A second Giallo Disco release this week sees the introduction of Garofono Rosso, a new alias from Italian producer Giorgio Luceri whose body of work includes plenty of releases on the Mathematics label. This house orientated approach has been put to one side here however, with Luceri adopting a more cosmic '80s sound that leaves us wanting more. Vast synth vistas punctuate the brief opening vignette "Buio" and from here Garofono Rosso comes further to life with four dancefloor ripplers that the more open minded selectors will fully embrace. "La Vera Storia Di Steve Suaro Dionigi" sounds like its been uncovered from a lost Beppe Loda mixtape from '86.
