The moody bassline and steadily rising strings give way to sweet Rhodes chords that cut through the tension in a perfect contrast. Jimpster turns his hand to a functional remix that keeps the rhythm steady and the melodic elements tempered, while Ripperton instead opts for an icy demeanour that pushes the beat to the back and lets elegiac pads do the talking.
