A further vinyl shaped addendum to Erol Alkan's recent mix for Fabric Live arrives here courtesy of his own Phantasy Sound label. In original form "Sub conscious" was wedged between an Uwe Schmidt production as Phreak and Andre Bratten's "Trommer og Bass" on Alkan's mix, and was subsequently granted a 10" release by Fabric. Given the fact the track teetered between unbridled acid madness and Lindstrom style cosmic chug, Alkan and Phantasy clear saw potential for some interesting remixes and turned to Tin Man and Kamera for this 12". It's little surprise that Tin Man chose to embellish the track's acidic qualities on a quite spell binding remix, and is matched by the effort from Kamera. A new signing to the Phantasy cause, the unheralded Kamera reaches Weatherall levels with this remix - its that good mate.
