On the latest Hot Creations missive, Lee Foss makes use of his own renowned imprint to bring in the big guns, snapping up Marc Kinchen to get involved on the A-side cuts. On the lead track, the pair delve into the nouveau pop styles of the Hot Creations crew with the help of Anabel Englund's dulcet tones, riding on a restrained disco range that gets only marginally stepped up for the following track "Goodnight Moon". It's seriously melodic and really quite tender stuff, which gets switched up for the more overt club stylings of "Could Be" and "B5 The Dinks". Drawing on boogie basslines and sharper editing flair, Foss seems intent on offering both sides of his personality, even across the limited space of EPs.
