Dreamy Harbor may be loosely tied into Tresor's 25th birthday celebrations, but for the most part it looks to the future. While there are a smattering of re-edits of previous releases - a cut-down version of Juan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald's "Electric Dub" being the most notable - the vast majority of the material is new and previously unheard. For the most part, the cuts are warm, spacey, melodious, intoxicating and pleasingly psychedelic, with even the compilation's occasional forthright moments - see Donato Dozzy's acid-fired "The Night Rider" - being trippy rather than banging. It's an approach the guarantees quality results, including standout moments from Monic, TV Victor, John Hassell and Daughter Produkt.
