'Disconet Greatest Hits Volume 9' contains quite possibly the best collection of remixes from the series. All 4 tracks are pure gold dancefloor dynamite and are extended versions exclusively made for discos by DJs of the time. We kick off with Bilbo's fantastically quirky take of James Brown's 'Sex Machine', giving it the electronic funk treatment. Next, producer extraordinaire Patrick Cowley's 'Megatron Man' is a heavy hitting 9 mins of hi-NRG disco. On the flip Magnifique's self titled 'Magnifique' is stretched out and given more 'oomph' and finally the Skatt Brothers classic 'Walk The Night' is given several re -edits - with added druggy vocal snippets - even breaking out into 'Relax'... it truly has to be heard to be believed.
