With the biggest tune in Ibiza this summer, Fedde Le Grande "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit", following on from such massive club hits earlier this year from Kurd Maverick "The Rub", and Asle "Golden Sun" - "Disco Mafia" is almost certain to continue this outstanding run of success for Cr2. Eazy's first fruits were the two Fierce Girl tracks "Double Drop" and "What Makes A Girl Fierce." The first was named 'Single Of the Week' in the NME and " What Make A Girl Fierce " was 'Single Of the Week' in The Guardian Guide. Sending the media into a mini frenzy, with articles in 'The Face', 'Attitude', 'The Observer' and many more publications - both tracks hit the Indie Top 20 and the Music Week Club Top 10 and Commercial Pop Chart Top 10. Straight after, Eazy got to remix one of his heroines, Debbie Harry, with his version of Blondie's track "Good Boys". Cr2 have now firmly established themselves as one of the hottest and most up front electronic dance music labels in the UK, releasing a variety of styles from established artists such as Danny Howells, Eric Prydz (whom they signed when he was unknown) alongside new upcoming artists such as Israel's Ran Shani, and the teenage prodigy from Switzerland Danny Freakazoid. Extensive promotion is carried out via the Cr2 myspace page - with between 200-300 visitors per day the label can massively hype "Disco Mafia" and create a buzz with clubbers, DJ's, promoters and shops. With Cr2's recent huge success with "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit" we feel that "Disco Mafia" can achieve a similar following across the mainstream.
