Making his first appearance with this release for new label Lake Placid, Tommy Finger Jr is clearly enamoured with the Motor City, which hence manifests itself in his music, whether it be through the atmospheric vocals or the jazzy melodies. There's no denying the chap knows his onions and knows how to pull off that 313 deep house atmosphere, no better demonstrated than on the wooden lurch of the second track in. Track three can't hold back and lets rip with a chiming key line and wonderfully rolling beat that stands out amidst the moodier tones of the rest of the tracks, but it's no less of a floor filling beauty.
