We're not quite sure who is behind the Light Sounds Dark operation, but it's clear their digging skills are second to none, with their infrequent compilations trudging up some ridiculously good off centre cosmic, psyche rock and disco delights - try and find their 2009 Sherm Sticks And Other Nasty Joints comp if you can. Their latest effort Danger Electrified Tracks brilliantly evokes that period in any long term record buyer's life when you'd be drawn towards a compilation of obscure, unrecognisable names by some distinctive art work and find yourself delighted when the music within justified the blind purchase. All manner of archival disco from forgotten 80s cassette only labels fills the twelve track selection on the first slab of wax, while the accompanying one sided red vinyl plate holds a fully pumped Moxon's Master edit of the opening track "Robot World" from Onyx which has been pressed up for maximum discotheque exposure!
