Operating at his beloved 170bpm, D Bridge manages to draw out a level of pensive emotion across the two arrangements here that is rarely matched by his peers, with song titles to match! "City Of Lonely Runaways" brushes silently into action as a lolloping liquid bump picks up the complex chord sequences and deep orchestral touches that hit you in heart. Check the flip for the more intrusive percussive nature of "Dischord" with swinging syncopation challenging your attention aside warm chiming chords and kaleidoscopic melodic flourishes. As usual, it's left to D Bridge to fully explore the crevices of the genre left untouched by the formulaic masses.
