It's been seven long years since UK box jam expert Chris Moss Acid last crossed paths with his Chicago namesake Jamal and released on Mathematics (several elder statesmen of the Juno office still bang out his London's Calling EP given the chance). Slam In The Box features four tracks that contain manic flurries of squelching acid & tweaking filters that will easily rupture the unprepared minds. What really shines through however is the mastery of machines shown by Moss throughout, yes "Superfreak 101" and "Acid Thump" are lysergic chaos personified but there is still method driving it all. File alongside Ekman and the Panzerkreuz label in general.
