Sticking firmly to his compelling signature sound of uncompromising basslines and intricate percussion, new EP C2m, which boasts a remix from Gary Beck, is as forward thinking as any of Mochi's previous releases and secures his rising reputation as one of Japan's leading artists. A-Side "C2m" plays with spaced out and droning tones, the haunting vocal pockets rife with atmospheric effects that take inspiration from the 90's rave era, yet sit firmly into futuristic experimentation. Flipping over, Gary Beck brings a different energy with an upbeat remix made for big rooms and festival vibes.
