Mukatsuku Records serve up two killer afro boogie funk tracks taken from the 1979 holy grail Cry For Peace & Love album from Nigerian band Mixed Grill. Production outfit GUYNAMUKAT revisit two tracks from the album, "Brand New Wayo" and "Funky People", retaining the funkier elements whilst editing them down to a handy 45 length. The tracks have been mastered by the legendary Mastering Engineer Sean P, who made a series of disco/boogie compilations with Joey Negro and also curated one of the best selling Originals compilations on Claremont 56. In a word: essential!
