The excellent Newcastle based label Signals recommences broadcasting after a period of quiet with this quite compelling transmission from the mysterious producer Black Narcissus X. Described as "a clandestine and sometime Rephlex UK producer," Black Narcissus X aligns with Signals for a self titled six track mini LP that veers through the crawl space between Drexciyan theme-tunes and the more playful scope of electro you might hear on Dublin label Lunar Disko Records. This release also comes with the most immense of press releases from Signals HQ: "High up in an isolated valley in the Himalayas a group of Anglican nuns reside in a former 'House of Women'. The Palace of Mopu, near Darjling, is the setting for emotional tensions, sexual repression and psychological drama."
