Active for several years in various musical forms, Beau Wanzer probably came to wider attention with that "Balls of Steel" cut on L.I.E.S. Clearly Ron Morelli was a positive influence on the Chicago artist, as 2014 saw Wanzer set up his own label to release music from his vast archive of mutant beatdowns. After one solo album and a fine collaborative long player with Corporate Park, we now have this second set of archival Wanzer recordings which dates back to 1999. It's an interesting mixture of moody, experimental electro, distant electronica, droning minimal wave movements, dystopian drum machine workouts, and pitched-down industrial techno, with the producer's own end-of-days vocals - heavily mutilated and tongue in cheek demonic - providing a constant thread.
