Currently killing it, both as solo producers and as a team, Switzerland's Optiv and Brazil's BTK drop a new pair of bangers on Virus. "Backlash" makes great use of the classic breakbeat from Jimmy McGriff's "The Worm" whilst filling out the rhythm with some tastefully plump basslines and deep atmospheric textures. "Lurker" follows on nicely with another raw drum set anchoring a stiff groove amongst a sea of darkside pads and sharply filtered basslines.
