Smallville stalwart Christopher Rau is currently in a rich vein of form - in recent times he's dropped some typical Pampa genius and been responsible for a slick remix of Drake & Griffiths tech house stomper "The Devils Eye". Ethereal Sounds boss Anton Zap handpicks as the next contributer to the background series - which has previously housed our favourite ES release from Uncle Deep. Handed such a task, Rau excels, crafting two deep jackers that come wrapped in a multiplicity of warm sounds - "Onion Smell" contains the best sounding kick drum we've heard since Uncle Pepe dropped "Deep Burnt" way back!
