Frankfurter Gregor Tresher is no amateur when it comes to releasing quality tech house music. His latest output is on Ovum, a label that provides a snug fit with his sound, having released "95 days/The Joker" on Josh Wink's imprint in 2009. The EP kicks off with "As Days Go By" - a low slung groove breaks and then progresses, with jazzy cymbals and a delicious bassline sitting under light hearted chords. A must have for the upcoming summer terraces! On the flip, "Moving Islands" is a darker, sexier and deeper offering. Sensual and indecipherable vocals wail on the track's bed whilst hi-hats and metallic percussion ride the high end. At the halfway mark we're treated to a solid kick that chugs along with an echoey synth pattern, giving "Moving Islands" the variation it deserves.
