Legend of the Parisian underground Ark teams up with the Minibar affiliated Pit Spector; he of Prospector, who has teamed up with for some great releases with the likes of Ben Vedren and San Proper recently. This new one for Hold Youth sees them throw down some quirky, loungey and microsampled grooves that roll deep such as on opener "Chauffage Central". Label boss Le Loup's remix next takes things even deeper (and definitely darker) on this after-hours suited effort. The flip sees a bunch of shorter tracks but they're straight to the point, like the funky disco loop of "Petite Ondee", the sexy deep house groove of "Air Conditionelle" and the tough, jackin' and down right boompty "Sub Tropicale".
