If you were one of those with the foresight to invest in Keyboard Masher's series of highly prized and supremely presented self released 12"s you'll know he's a smart addition to the seemingly growing Resista clan. Both the tracks on this Afro Editions 12" demonstrate the erstwhile masher of keys has lost none of his humorous approach to editing, with "Juju" sounding like several different tracks melded together with tape glue as it veers through fifteen - yes fifteen - minutes of unpredictable afro disco. Turn over for the 45rpm charge of "Tcham Tcham" which is in contrast a straight up disco pumper in the Sofrito/Resista fashion, driven by a sick electronic disco groove that builds gleefully.
