Roundabout Sounds have opted to doff their hats to the much-missed hero of Detroit house music Aaron-Carl, having secured a remix from him shortly before his untimely death. The end result is a bumper pack of remixes from a host of different producers, with Carl's own version emanating warmly from the top of the mix. The curators have done their job well and selected a range of high-grade deep house interpreters who all turn in proficient cuts. Ebb & Flow's version stutters and jerks with heavily sliced samples, while Agnes excels in creating some booming and bumping weight underneath the woozy keys.
