The excellently named Bloop welcomes the mysterious perma red clad Detroit figure known only as Anonym back into their fold for a release that is likely to prove popular amongst fans of acid tinged techno pulsers. What really impresses about "A Is For Acid, B Is For Bass" is the ease with which the distinctive acid rumbles twist between the depths of the production and an all out assault on your sensory receptors against a backdrop of subtly rattling percussion and undulating bass. The accompanying remixes from the Lisboa City Orchestra and Kaspar veer between rumbling dub techno crunchiness from the former and a menacing heads down warehouse jacker from the latter. An additional track from Anonym succinctly titled "B Is For Bass" naturally concentrates on crafting a brooding bottom end acid growl around crisp programming.
