Following an extended sabbatical, Commercial Suicide regular Amit Kamboj returns with his second full length. It's five years since his debut, Never Ending, hit stores. In that time, he's perhaps mellowed a touch with age - though you wouldn't notice from some of the fierce and full-on fodder here. Certainly, there's a touch more deviation from the paranoid drum and bass template than you may expect. While his darker cuts still strut with latent aggression, it's the forays into other styles - tough, in-your-face breakbeat, ambient, dubstep, funk and the like - that really impress. That said, the album's stand out moment - the Eastern-influenced title track - still bristles with uncomfortable paranoia.
