Trad Vibe drops another dinked 45 from the French jazz funk group of the 1970's whose core members included Alain Mion (Piano/Rhodes) and Alain Gandolfi (drums, percussion) who recorded several albums and singles originally for the Sonodisc label. The title track was sampled by Jay Dee, Madlib and MF Doom amongst others and has a solemn hip hop tempo groove with dramatic drums and some gorgeous Rhodes tinkering offset by a scatting lone female vocal. On the flipside you get the uptempo "Devil's Dance" which is an alternative version of the jazz classic they released called "Mary Et Jeff".
