Modeselektor come through with a welcome double vinyl pressing of the first job lot of 50 Weapons releases - all of which have been long out of print in their originally released 12" format. Whilst the all too illicit debut in the 50 Weapons catalogue is naturally not present, this eight track helping features the likes of SBTRKT, Siriusmo, Shackleton, T++, Roska and Headhunter dropping remixes of Modeselektor and Moderat. Also included is the Phon O remix of "Art & Cash" which has never been given a physical release before, and what's impressive is how much they still sound fresh today despite the zeitgeist goalposts being moved along markedly in the subsequent period. Lovingly presented with inside out hand stamped sleeves housed in cellophane wrapping!
