The Audio Underground imprint debuts in style with Underground Fables Vol 1 - a various artist EP pressed on a fruity orange vinyl. Norwegian house producer Finnebassen takes the honours for first track with his "Show Me How", a heartfelt and melancholic Kompakt sounding house cut, while H2, who last appeared on the Form-Music and Get Physical imprints supplies some more mainstream '90s vocal house - similar to a mellowed out version of Kosheen's "Hide You". Jobe follows on from a successful 2012 with his track "Something About Disco", the title most likely a reference his funky bassline, but in fact it's Rob Made's "Made You Love Me" that really hits the discotheque nail on the head with breathy vocals, synthy twinkles and fromage-laced italo vibes.
