"Afro Funk Gems" - there is NOTHING we don't like about that trio of words. Especially when it's delivered with Mr Weston's stamp of approval; the key selector's previous curated compilations and A&R skills speak volumes. And in this instance, rather funky volumes. Quirky too; the A-side features a bizarre but wondrous collabo between Swedish rock band Archimedes Badkar & Tanzanian band Afro 70's. And on the B-Side to this tribal floor stomper we have the fantastically named Ekambi Brilliant with a more western flavoured funk jam that comes complete with some incredible retro synth squiggles.
