Having brought the Hotel Motel disco flecked house juggernaut to Under The Shade with last year's triumphant Kathy Diamond featuring Paying The Price, Bill Brewster and Alex Tepper return to the stellar imprint with this fine release. "Donna Nook" was allegedly formed when thee duo started playing with ideas based around sampling some obscure Gallic fusion record, though we are lead to believe the results pressed to wax here are vastly different. What is clear is how much of a jam the track is, described quite aptly by Hotel Motel themselves as "preposterous disco" and driven by a killer warm boogie thrust. The usual impressive remix commissions by Under The Shade fill out the B Side with Swedish trio Name In Lights adding what sounds like some Jigga infused punch to proceedings.
