The 20th birthday celebrations continue for the 430 West imprint as Octave One drop the third edition in the Revisited series. Two more Octave One classics have been remixed, this time "Love & Hate" and "I Need Release". Swedish Carl Lekebusch is on duty for the "Love & Hate" remix and his standard Drumcode techno is evident with fat kicks, loads of reverb and swooshing effects. "Love & Hate's" melodic mid section is an unexpected and catchy twist in the otherwise stomping tech track. On the flip is Alexander Kowalski's reinterpretation of "I Need Release" with original vocals from Ann Saunderson. The result is warm and soulful, the original vocals kept in tact whilst a more pounding vibe has been added underneath.
