German producer Kassem Mosse has enjoyed a stunning 2010 - embraced by the UK bass community and European house/techno circles, his remix of Commix topped the Juno Plus Top 50 Tracks of 2010 list, while he was also responsible for a raw-as-hell 12" on Non Plus and a killer refix of Braiden on Joy Orbison's Doldrums imprint. Here we see Mosse The Boss round off a watershed 12 months with a three track EP on Italian imprint Kinda Soul. Sprawled across the A Side is the analogue electro menace of "2D", whilst dark, loopy techno rhythms are bathed in droning atmospherics and moaning synth stabs on B Side opener "Thalassocalyce". "Demo Drums Ripping Demos" concludes the release with an air of sombre mechanics, coming in somewhere between Actress and Jeff Mills. Superb.
