'Lick The Edits' is the limited edition 45 containing two edited tracks from hip-hop's golden age. 'North Of The Tobin' is a sliced version of MC Shan's classic 'The Bridge', re-interpreted in Bladerunners fashion. On the flip we got Slick Rick's 'Lick The Balls', complete with 8-bar intro, and again tons of edits. Both tracks are loud and DJ ready. Originally pressed as a vinyl companion to Brian Coleman's book 'Check The Technique: Liner Notes For Hip Hop Junkies', Bladerunners DJ 7L has kept back a super limited amount of these must-have collector's items for general sale, but you need to get on them fast before they are edited out of existence.
