Letroset's music is, even at its darkest, still fun and enjoyable, never sticking to a set model, and always hitting out with the most unexpected sounds,
edits and directions. He said recently that he puts excitement and directivity ahead of polished, squeaky-clean production, and that with this ep he
aims to hopefully convey some of the passion that got him into the game in the first place
This record from Point One contains arguably his best recorded works to date. Riding on a sound equally in debt to the influences of super camp Italo
and 80s electro-disco as it is to early Chicago house, Detroit techno and even the wonkiest Warp emissions, his four compositions more than hint at
something very special here - a musician who has true identity of his own, and one that he should be immensely proud of.
The cherry on top of the 'Hertz Aus Glas EP' comes in the form of a stunning remix from Mr. Pauli (Bumper / Novamen / Viewlexx). His debut solo release
on Viewlexx last year raised the bar for disco-influenced dancing music, and was a refreshing drop in into the vast pool of identikit, arpeggio-based releases
that drenched the scene for too long. His contribution here is just as dependable, combining Letroset's original with a classic Dutch-Disco mentality.
All tracks are mastered by Alden Tyrell and sound massive.
