Label/Supplier Notes

Mindless Boogie brings another edits bundle which sidesteps the obvious in favour of a more psychedelic approach. These are three much sought after tracks, all edited by Lexx. 'Symptom Of The Sea' is a chilled tune with loads of lovely Spanish sounding guitars that immediately recall the image of a sunset scene on a Balearic island without ever being corny. The first tune on the B-side is called 'Stripper', an edit of a Michael Quatro track with the same title. All the unnecessary parts that made the original version unplayable for today's DJs got removed and turn the tune into a nice & sleazy piece of disco-rock that the boys from Map Of Africa couldn't have done any better. Last up is 'Body Double', originally recorded for the first 12" of Swiss duo double & recorded at the legendary Can studios in Cologne. A cinematic track with a percussive feel & fluffy synths that remind us of Wally Baradou in his prime, spiced up with additional production and completely re-arranged it sets the perfect mood for a laid-back afternoon.
