In awe of all that is brightest and best, highest and indeed lowest and most primal in British youth culture, Klaxons see no distinction between celebrating their love of the madness and melodies, the ecstasy and euphoria of early 90s hardcore rave with making some of the brightest, sharpest guitar music around today. The band describe their sound as Josef K meets Baby D with a twinkle in their eyes; surely they are the first to mention those names in the same sentence. "We are about fusing the things we listen to constantly," says bassist Jamie Reynolds. "It's about accessible pop music. We're trying to take it back by wanting to make a brilliantly overblown pop record!" Single of the Week in the NME, the video is hammered by MTV2 and the band have had sessions on Xfm and Radio 1.The remix package is awesome, mentioning the Van She remix which is the tool for the cool DJ this summer.
