Label/Supplier Notes

Archipel is constantly working hard to bring you the latest in quality music and, with that in mind, brings you the new sublabel "Kalimari." For the first release, Kalimari invites Detroit's Lee Curtiss who churns out his dark and elastic release "Mein Tesh." Lee starts off with "Ketamine Xmas" which is featured on Matt Dear's new mix CD on Fabric. True to its name, "Ketamine Xmas" is a little gift of drawn out soaking wet track soaked in dark paralysis. "Pink Panty" is a freaked out space jam of paranoid chords and shifty eyed percussion. On the B-side is "Would You Still" which is chock full of extremely low end bass and humid echoing masses of sound in a cold cocoon which somehow remains warm. On the inside is "After The Trip" which is drenched in drooling acidic percussion and mindfuck synths.
