Having enjoyed support from Fake Blood, Crookers, Boy 8-Bit and Boris Dlugosch, as well as being personally chosen by Cassius to remix their mighty "I ? You So", UK electro producer Bowski is on top form right now and is clearly a name to remember for 2012 if "Poppies" is anything to go by. Led by the quirky and dubby title tune, he goes equally gentle on the excellent "White Russian" which mixes deep Detroit pads with a deliriously warped melody and some tight, crisp snares. "Balloon Brain" rounds off this excellent EP in style, with a deep chiming motif sat nicely on top of a solid bass 'n' kicks groove.
