Those craving techno that evokes Kafkaesque mental images of huge armies of hostile insects crawling in your direction along the vast walls of indescript concrete spaces while the dense thud of a bassline antagonises them should always check in on the latest output from Mike Parker. The NY State based producer's first Geophone release in some 12 months captures this sensation perfectly with Parker's expansive eight minute plus 'Autumn' remix of "Give Yourself Up 2 Techno" from Apple Juice & Sean Place, licensed for the vinyl issue it deserves following digital release on Intermission late last year. Complementing this, two untitled purely analogue Parker productions line up on the B Side which both explore the depths of oscillating low end frequencies and atonality.
