Keen followers of the progressive digital scene will recognise this release as the track that marked Andrew's "arrival" as a progressive producer to watch. With recent remixes for Global Underground, EMI and Method/Baroque, Andrew Kelly continues to carve a name as a producer and astound with his simply stunning production. This 4 track EP opens with the 'Original Mix', a collision of Andrew's now trademark unique sounds and deconstructed production which is timeless. With support form Sasha and Hybrid, this is a must for anyone who indulges in progressive electronica. Beautiful and banging all at the same time, one for the box!
Second up is the 'Pole Folder' remix. The core elements of the original melody remain but 'Pole Folder' tweaks an epic twisting deep progressive journey out of the sounds. Gorgeous and impressive, 'Pole Folder' delivers.
For the 3rd remix Stuart McKeown, whose trademark glitch production has impressed of late leading to an abundance of remix work and a release for Proton Music, takes the controls. Developing the darker side of Andrew's original, Stuart strips it to a minimal pulsing electric work out. Verging on total sonic experimentation, this is essential listening.
Finishing of the EP are Italy based producers Relative Depth. The warmest remix of this initial batch cranks up the house groove for DJ purists. Indulged in lovely sweeping strings, bubbly synths and funky retro electro house rhythms this remix is a fine addition and rounds this initial EP off.
