Whilst many people would have come to Polysick via last year's superb Digital Native album for Planet Mu, the Rome based producer has been doing his city proud with excellent music for some time. Legowelt's Strangelife, 100% Silk and the MinimalRome label run by Heinrich Dressel have all issued Polysick material over the years, and the producer's penchant for the lesser known label continues here with a new album for Belgian label AudioMer called Daydream. This eight track set is described by the Ghent based operation as "a perfect soundtrack to a midnight trip through darkened futuristic cityscapes" and sounds like a continuation of the acid tinged techno that Flow FM, the cassette tape Polysick released on 100% Silk last year.
