Review: Enzo Siragusa's Fuse London imprint is back with more top notch minimal grooves for the afterhours shift. Londoner Anthony DiFrancesco teams up with newcomer Samuel Bellis team up on the DB Productions project who serve us with some deep and rolling high fidelity grooves like "One Way To Pluto" which is paranoid and trance inducing; just perfect for the morning set for when things get weird. "Adderall" gives you a good kick just like its namesake; this one is more energetic and on the deep house tip but still loopy and hypnotic enough for perfect dancefloor dynamics. Finally "87-88" gets a remix by French deep house maestro Alexkid with label boss Siragusa himself and it's a good one: stripped, bass driven and functional.

Review: He's Hot Natured, tres Freak 'N Chic (once upon a time) but now he's gonna raise Kaoz on the dancefloor: business as usual from the UK tech house legend Jamie Jones. It's more of the smooth and slinky house you'd expect from Bangand or's finest on "Illicit Behaviour" often copied but never matched. He ups the ante on next track "New Skool Acid" which is much more fierce and funky. This dirty and druggy shuffler is definitely for the peak time. There's a bunch of killer remixes of said track too: we're particularly feeling Matthias Tanzmann's rendition where the Leipzig legend gives it a dark and atmospheric makeover for late night sleaze.

Review: When another Andromeda release hits the shelves we're just as excited as you are. Other than the obvious fact that it's Romanian, the label is shrouded in much mystery still, even after seven releases in; but we like that! An dromeda 07 serves up one brilliantly deep and hypnotic (as always) track by label mainstay and Bucharest hero Vid with the sublime "The Search" which in typical fashion flows on and on for nearly 12 minutes of bliss. On the flip they hand the reins to London deep house heroine Anthea who delivers two fine cuts: first up the trippy and cyclical "Grumpy Cat" with its swirling pads doing most of the basic trance induction while "The Fog" gets a bit more swing and shuffle on with its tough and dusty drums backing some dark atmospherics which you can imagine hearing during an overcast afternoon on a messy Sunday at Club der Visionaere.

  26. Khan - "On The Run" (DJ Kaos & Me remix)
Review: Despite their reputation as makers of polite but potent downtempo grooves, Groove Armada has spent the last few years rediscovering their dancefloor roots. This DJ mix for the FabricLive series continues in that vein, with the veteran duo showcasing a selection of recent faves and overlooked gems from the worlds of deep house, tech-house and techno. It's a predictably enjoyable journey, from the bumpin', late night throb of Reset Robot's "On Your Knees", and the sub-heavy deep house wooziness of Chez Damier's "Untitled A1", to the hypnotic late night shuffle of Dixon's remix of Tiga's "Plush", and the hands-in-the-air release of Aster's "Cielo", as remixed by Belfast party-starters Bicep.

Review: Quite surprisingly, The Triad is the first Pantha Du Prince solo full-length since 2010's well received Black Noise. Like that set, which saw Hendrick Weber continue his obsession with the melodious end of minimal techno, The Triad is a vibrant and picturesque affair, drawing influence from the late night atmospherics of James Blake, and the bubbly IDM of Boards of Canada, as much as the dancefloors of Berlin, Cologne or Frankfurt. As usual, Weber has managed to combine electronics with acoustic instrumentation without spoiling the shuffling dancefloor mood, and the album's various vocal tracks are notable for their immense dreaminess. If you've never taken a trip into Weber's warming world before, The Triad offers the perfect introduction.
