Rackmountable 8 channel dynamics processor unit with full featured analog compressor/limiter
Notes: One of our all-time most popular products, the ACP88 delivers the classic analog compression that helped establish PreSonus as a leading signal-processor manufacturer. With eight independent, full-featured compressor/limiters and gates, the ACP88 can solve a host of thorny studio and live-sound problems. A switchable power transformer enables international use.

Each channel provides a fully variable compressor with a sidechain send and return to enable spectral processing and ducking. In addition to the usual attack, release, ratio, threshold, and makeup gain controls, each compressor offers selectable soft- or hard-knee compression and an Auto Attack feature. A six-segment LED meter displays the amount of gain reduction, and pair of LEDs indicate gate position (open/closed) and compression threshold (above/below).

At the heart of the ACP88 is the highly respected THAT 4301s VCA. This VCA has unsurpassed dynamic range, extremely low distortion characteristics, and virtually no noise. With its top-shelf components and classic analog design, it's no surprise that the ACP88 delivers best-in-class audio quality.

The compressor/limiter is followed by a full-featured gate with attack, release, and threshold controls; a gate-range switch, which determines the amount of level reduction that occurs when the gate closes; and a sidechain/key insert loop that enables the gate to be opened, or "keyed," in response to a modified version of the program signal or some other external source.

Each channel of the ACP88 includes a sidechain send and return for the gate.

With eight independent dynamics processors in one unit, you can employ tricks that aren't possible with lesser processors. The Channel Link feature lets you lock together as many channels as you wish, so that all processors follow the setting of the master processor. Since you can create multiple simultaneous link groups, you could link a stereo pair of channels plus a group of four processors and still have two unlinked channels for other applications.

Each ACP88 channel can be independently bypassed so you can audition signals with and without processing. Activating Bypass effectively removes all processing and returns the signal to unity gain. Bypass affects both the gate and the compressor. When bypassed, the Link function is interrupted for that channel.

The ACP88 is designed to work smoothly with a variety of professional and semipro gear. You can select +4 dBu or -10 dBV operating levels independently for each channel.

Some people say they don't make signal processors the way they used to. Nonsense. The ACP88 is a superb old-skool processor, with physical knobs and switches for every parameter, shoehorned into two rackspaces, and it delivers a pure analog sound that will always be in style.

So if you want a professional analog dynamics processor that is every bit as powerful and sonically pleasing as the famous vintage processors were "back when," try the ACP88. Because great sound never gets old.

Advanced 18x18 USB 2.0 recording system, audiobox VSL interface with class A mic preamps
Notes: The flagship in PreSonus' new generation of USB 2.0 audio/MIDI interfaces, the AudioBox 1818VSL takes hardware/software integration to the next level and delivers a combination of features, audio quality, and value that is unprecedented in this product category.

Using your computer CPU and PreSonus Virtual StudioLive (VSL) software, AudioBox VSL series interfaces provide reverb and delay effects and the same Fat Channel compression, limiting, semi parametric EQ, and high pass filter, as the PreSonus StudioLive 16.0.2 digital mixer - all with inaudible latency.
It's a great choice for project studios, performing bands, school music labs, and a wide variety of corporate installations and other contractor applications.
This is a pro product all the way, with high end 24 bit, 96 kHz converters; Class A XMAX preamps; ADAT optical I/O; S/PDIF coaxial I/O; word clock output; and MIDI I/O, housed in a heavy duty, rack mount metal chassis.
Furthermore, thanks to the power of VSL, the AudioBox 1818VSL includes a 26x8 software mixer. As a result, with just an AudioBox 1818VSL and your laptop or other computer, you can mix a studio session or live show featuring a full band - all while monitoring and recording with or without real time effects!

The Presonus engineering wizards have dramatically reduced processing delay in the AudioBox VSL series. The result: dynamics processing, EQ, reverb, and effects that feel real, with no audible delay.
If you like what you hear, you can record with AudioBox VSL series effects, too!

Versatile and portable, the AudioBox 1818VSL offers 2 convenient front panel mic/instrument combo inputs and 6 front panel mic/line combo inputs, true 48V phantom power (switchable in 2 banks), and 8 line level outputs.
ADAT Optical I/O provides 8 more channels of input and output (at 44.1 or 48KHz; 4 channels at 88.1 or 96KHz). S/PDIF coaxial digital I/O adds 2 more channels, bringing the total to 18 audio input channels and 18 output channels.

Monitor with dual 4.5" custom-woven Kevlar LF/midrange drivers for dynamic, size-defying bass output
Notes: The Eris E44 and E66 deliver an expanded and highly accurate frequency response and the widest stereo field available in their class. Their nested Midwoofer-Tweeter-Midwoofer (MTM, also known as "D'Appolito") configuration offers improved off-axis response and spatial resolution. The result is a more consistent listening experience, smoother frequency response, and an ultra-wide, detailed stereo soundstage.

Conventional 2-way designs can cause significant early reflections from their surrounding environment. The E44 and E66 overcome this by positioning a 1.25", silk dome high-frequency driver between two 4.5" (E44) or 6.5" (E66) midrange drivers. The two smaller woofers work in parallel to partially contain the dispersion of the tweeter, minimizing phase displacement. The result is incredibly detailed stereo imaging.

Both the E44 and the E66 feature two midrange drivers that cover the same frequency range. The drivers are placed so that their acoustic centers are less than one wavelength apart for any of the frequencies they reproduce; as a result, the combined signal of both drivers propagates forward like a single waveform. This makes the comparatively small midrange drivers in the E44 and E66 behave like a single, larger driver. This mutual coupling provides a highly dynamic output in a compact footprint.

Sound waves radiating from the two components in a conventional speaker design can interfere with one another, creating peaks at some frequencies and dips at others, and these will vary depending on where the listener is relative to the speaker. In an MTM configuration, component interference, and the sonic inconsistencies that go with it, are minimized. This affords listeners an ultra-wide sweet spot and a more consistent listening experience on- and off-axis.

The E44 and E66 utilize custom-woven Kevlar low-frequency drivers. This provides a more constant dispersion pattern throughout the frequency range, resulting in less time-smeared audio and cleaner overall sound. The weave and nature of the dual Kevlar woofers also helps break up reflected energy, so fewer delayed reflections reach the listener's ear. In conjunction with the MTM configuration, this works to create a transparent, cohesive sound.

Many MTM configurations must be arrayed vertically, rather than horizontally, because vertical placement provides a clear, interference-free midrange and treble reproduction to either side, expanding the sweet spot. By bringing the midrange drivers closer together and raising the high-frequency driver, the E44 and E66 are able to perform optimally in both orientations. So, like all Eris speakers, the E44 and E66 let you position your speaker the way that works best for you.

Today's music producers deal with a wide variety of musical genres and often work in more than one location. That's why Eris-series studio monitors offer extensive acoustic tuning controls. The three-position Acoustic Space switch helps to compensate for the boundary bass boost that can occur when a monitor is placed in a corner or near a wall. High and Mid controls help to further mitigate room anomalies. A Low Cutoff filter makes it easy to integrate a Temblor subwoofer into your monitor setup.

With three different types of audio inputs, it's easy to feed audio to your Eris monitors from a mixer, an interface, a media player, or almost any other line-level source. The Eris E44 and E66 provide balanced XLR, balanced 1/4" TRS, and unbalanced RCA line-level inputs. With this selection, you'll have no problem hooking your Eris speakers up with virtually any line-level source.

Like all PreSonus studio monitors, the Eris E44 and E66 offer consistent, accurate listening. The ultra-wide stereo image afforded by their MTM design, makes them an ideal solution for any one who requires best-in-class spatial resolution. Like the rest of the Eris studio monitors, the E44 and E66 set a new standard for affordable studio monitors.

Front ported studio monitor with 5.25" driver and 1" tweeter
Notes: The Eris E5 2 way active 5.25" studio monitor from PreSonus delivers an accurate response with tight bass and a clear upper end. The Kevlar low frequency transducers, low-mass silk-dome tweeters and responsive Class AB amplification combine with acoustic-adjustment controls to create a versatile and adaptable listening system.

The E5 begins with a front-ported enclosure made of vinyl-laminated MDF. It features a 5.25" Kevlar low-frequency driver mated with a 45W, Class AB amplifier. For the highs, the Eris employs a 1" silk-dome tweeter powered by a 35W, Class AB amplifier. The E5 outputs a clean 102 dB peak SPL. Its frequency response is rated at 64Hz to 22kHz.

The Eris E5 provides a balanced XLR, a balanced 14" TRS, and an unbalanced RCA line-level input. Once you're plugged in, set the input gain and you're ready to go.

The Eris provides 3-EQ controls in its acoustic tuning section: high, mid, and low cutoff. These controls enable you to fine-tune the monitors to your space. The low control also is useful when using the E5 with a subwoofer.

The High control is a shelving filter that boosts or cuts all frequencies above 4.5kHz by as much as 6dB. The mid control is a mid-frequency peak filter that boosts or cuts frequencies centered at 1kHz and extending about one octave above and below that frequency. The low cutoff control rolls off frequencies below either 80 or 100Hz at a slope of 12dB/octave. This control is especially useful if you also have a connected subwoofer.

A 3-position acoustic space switch controls a second-order, low shelving filter that cuts frequencies below 800Hz by either 2 or 4dB to compensate for the boundary bass boost that occurs in close proximity to walls or corners.

The RF shielding protects against radio frequencies that could be introduced to the signal and become audible. The Eris monitors also provide overheat protection, current-output limiting and subsonic protection. The Soft startup amplifiers prevent damaging pops from sounding through the speakers when you power them up.

With three different types of audio inputs, it's easy to feed audio to your Eris monitors from a mixer, an interface, a media player, or almost any other line-level source. The Eris E66 provides balanced XLR, balanced 1/4" TRS, and unbalanced RCA line-level inputs. With this selection, you'll have no problem hooking your Eris speakers up with virtually any line-level source.

Like all PreSonus studio monitors, the Eris E66 offers consistent, accurate listening. The ultra-wide stereo image afforded by their MTM design, makes them an ideal solution for any one who requires best-in-class spatial resolution. Like the rest of the Eris studio monitors, the E66 sets a new standard for affordable studio monitors.

Pair of monitors with dual 6.5" custom-woven Kevlar LF/midrange drivers for dynamic, size-defying bass output
Notes: The Eris E66's deliver an expanded and highly accurate frequency response and the widest stereo field available in their class.

The E66 features two midrange drivers that cover the same frequency range. The drivers are placed so that their acoustic centers are less than one wavelength apart for any of the frequencies they reproduce; as a result, the combined signal of both drivers propagates forward like a single waveform. This makes the comparatively small midrange drivers in the E66 behave like a single, larger driver.

The E66 utilises custom-woven Kevlar low-frequency drivers.

By bringing the midrange drivers closer together and raising the high-frequency driver, the E66 is able to perform optimally in both orientations. So, like all Eris speakers, the E66 let you position your speaker the way that works best for you.

Like all PreSonus studio monitors, the Eris E66 offers consistent, accurate listening. The ultra-wide stereo image afforded by their MTM design, makes them an ideal solution for any one who requires best-in-class spatial resolution. Personal battery powered headphone amplifier with mono/stereo operation switch
Notes: Designed for musicians and performers who demand mobility without compromising audio quality, the HP2 personal headphone amplifier is a great choice for driving wired in-ear monitors (IEMs), as well as headphones. PreSonus HP-series headphone amplifiers have long been popular for their loud, clean, clear sound and roadworthy built quality. The new HP2 delivers these qualities in an easily affordable, stereo device so you'll hear every note and beat clearly wherever your music takes you.

Portable and compact, the HP2 gives you all you need to drive your headphones or in-ears without complicating your setup. It sports two XLR line-level inputs and one stereo 1/8-inch headphone output with volume control. Operation can be switched between stereo and mono, and a Pan knob is provided. Like all PreSonus gear, it's built to take the rigors of life on the road. And it mounts on a microphone stand or clips to your belt. Simple, easy to use, built to travel, has the right features, sounds great. That's how we roll at PreSonus.

When you're playing an extra long show or two shows back-to-back, having to stop and change batteries on your headphone amp is a hassle you don't need. No worries! HP2 stands for "Has Power 2 Spare." The HP2 can be powered with an external DC power supply or a nine-volt battery that lasts more than seven hours and includes an LED battery indicator. So you can play those extra-long gigs and hear your monitor mix perfectly - all night long.

2 way active studio monitor with 6.5" woven kevlar driver and a choice of XLR, 1/4" jack & RCA inputs
Notes: The R65 and R80 feature a custom 6.8-inch2 Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter that responds to the subtlest waveforms and the highest frequencies. This allows you to hear the "air" and the greater sense of space that is characteristic of audiophile recordings. The R series' transparent and highly accurate sound makes them ideal for use in both commercial and home recording studios as well as broadcast and post-production environments.

In order to dampen resonance peaks at higher frequencies, conventional dome tweeters are injected with fluid to raise their mass, sacrificing transient response time. By contrast, the custom-designed AMT tweeter in the R65 and R80 uses an incredibly thin, folded Kapton membrane (< 0.01 mm) with an inlayed aluminum circuit functioning as the voice coil, allowing the tweeter to move at the same instant as the electric current. The resulting reactive response time provides marked clarity and superior transient reproduction.

Unlike a traditional 1-inch dome tweeter, which provides a mere 506 mm2 projection area, an unfolded AMT tweeter diaphragm provides 8 to 13 times the projection area so its sound coverage is much larger. For example, the 4,400 mm2 PreSonus R65 and R80 tweeter provides coverage equivalent to that of a 3-inch dome tweeter. This enables the R-series monitors to provide a much wide stereo soundstage than traditional designs.

Both the R65 and R80 provide a wide lateral dispersion and very limited vertical dispersion. The narrow vertical dispersion helps to reduce reflections from the ceiling and desktop that can cause phase coherence issues. The broad, even horizontal dispersion creates a wide sweet spot. Because they are less subject to room-anomaly interference, the R65 and R80 react more predictably and sound more consistent from room to room.

The R65 and R80 utilize 6.5-inch (R65) and 8-inch (R80), custom-coated, woven Kevlar low-frequency drivers. This rigid cone maintains a more consistent dispersion pattern across its frequency response range. Biamped and driven by a 150W Class D amplifier - making the R series some of the most powerful monitors in their category - these monitors deliver an open, clear, and less fatiguing listening experience.

R series monitors offer user-adjustable contour features for optimizing the monitors for your mixing space. This enables full integration into any studio environment. A four-position Acoustic Space switch helps to compensate for the boundary bass boost that occurs when the monitor is placed near a wall. A high-frequency driver level control helps to further mitigate room anomalies. An onboard highpass filter makes it easy to integrate a Temblor subwoofer into your monitor setup.

The responsive nature of the R65 and R80 AMT monitor design provides lifelike sonic reproduction that will allow you to hear the room and breathe in your recordings. The transparent sound and responsive transient reproduction make them an ideal solution for anyone who is mixing high-resolution audio.

26x32 audio interface & studio command center with zero latency monitoring & Studio One 3 Artist license included
Notes: The PreSonus Studio 192 is the first USB 3.0 audio interface to deliver exceptional sonic fidelity and flexible connectivity in addition to professional monitoring and mixing controls in a single rack-space. Whether you're a producer or an audio engineer, an independent band or a sound designer, the Studio 192 was built for you to create.

The Studio 192 is designed to be the central hub for any project or professional studio. The onboard Talkback mic can be routed to any mix. Onboard Dim and Mono options let you take control of your Main mix. Listen to any mix from either headphone amp. Use the ten balanced outputs for monitor mixing, speaker switching, or both, depending on how you work. With its flexible software and abundant I/O, the Studio 192 fits into any recording and production environment.

The Studio 192 includes eight remote controlled XMAX preamps, each providing high headroom, low noise, wide dynamic range, and extended frequency response. The resulting musicality and transparency provides smooth, solid sonic reproduction.

Your audio interface is now an integrated extension of your recording environment. Launch Studio One and you'll find the preamp controls, speaker switching, mono, dim, and talkback functions needed to control your Studio 192. 1U rackmountable signal processor unit providing tube preamps, dynamics processing and EQ
Notes: One of Presonus' newest signal processors, the versatile Studio Channel provides tube preamplification, dynamics processing, and EQ and takes the channel-strip concept in a bit different direction than does its older sibling, the Eureka.

The Studio Channel's Class A tube preamplifier is based on the original BlueTube DP preamp and features a high-output 12AX7 tube that operates on voltages double that of other preamplifiers in its class. The result is lots of headroom and big tone. Gain and Tube Drive controls enable a wide range of sounds, from transparent and clear to edgy and overdriven.

Presonus' VCA-based compressor is known for musicality and fast attack, with the ability to tame the fastest transients. From slap bass, to snare drum, to vocals, the Studio Channel's compressor allows you to record blazing-hot signals with total dynamics control. Its convenient Auto Attack/Release feature provides preset attack and release curves. The backlit VU meter can display gain reduction or output gain.

The custom-designed amplifiers in the Studio Channel's three-band EQ deliver sweet-sounding gain and cut for smooth highs; deep, solid lows; and clear midrange. The midrange band is fully parametric, with variable Q. The high- and low-frequency bands have Frequency and Gain controls, but fixed Q, and can be either shelving or peak bands. The EQ can be pre- or post-compressor, and you can bypass each stage independently.

With both XLR and 1/4" line outputs, you can connect the Studio Channel to almost any recording interface, amp, or P.A. system.

With one multipurpose processor, you can elicit a huge variety of tones. Produce luscious, in-your-face vocals, dynamic acoustic piano, and fat, solid bass guitar, not to mention crystal-clear acoustic guitars, cracking snare, and huge MPC tracks.
