Michael Badal is a young up-and-coming DJ and Producer out of Los Angeles, California. After perfecting his art of DJing and Production for over 8 years now, Michael was finally able to make his move into the global scene in June of 2007 with his first global release. The first release, One Night, was released on none other than the legendary UK label, Baroque Records’ Wildchild imprint. That year, Michael went onto produce other hit original tracks like Cold and Colours. Colours was a true phenomenon, which received mass attention from Tiesto and was played throughout his entire In Search of Sunrise 6 World Tour. Also that year, he had the privilege of remixing top artists such as Above & Beyond (Home), Lustral (A Quiet Revolution), and Stalker (Philae). In just 6 months alone, Michael had placed himself in the catalogs of top labels such as Anjunabeats, Ultra, Euphonic, Baroque, and more. Following the successful year of 2007, Michael has already began to build his name into a force to be reckoned with. In February of 2008, Enhanced Recordings unleashed Michael’s collaboration with Trance goddess, Tiff Lacey, for their single, Don’t Be Afraid. His growing status and busy remix schedule also landed him remixes for legends such as Andy Moor (So Much More), Myon & Shane 54 (Trapped), Ernesto vs Bastian (Stranger In Paradise), and many more! Receiving frequent plays on such shows as Tiesto’s Club Life, Above & Beyond’s Trance Around The World, and Armin Van Buuren’s A State of Trance, the heavy-hitters have certainly been taking notice. What is left of this year will bring many more original releases and remixes on the top labels and also mark the start of 2009.
